Classification: LL3.5 Unequilibrated Chondrite (S2, W1)
Description: Relatively fresh specimen composed of closely-packed, well-formed fairly chondrules with a relatively low content of metal (some fresh and some partially altered). Olivine (Fa0.2-89.6; Cr2O3 in ferroan olivine 0.02-0.11 wt.%, mean 0.05 wt.%, s.d. 0.03 wt.%, N = 9), orthopyroxene (Fs2.4-22.1Wo0.3-0.9), clinopyroxene (Fs3.9-8.9Wo40.7-45.2), sodic plagioclase, chromite, altered kamacite and troilite). (Analyzed as LL3.5, submitted as LL3. See Bunch et al., 2012.) (Classification and petrographic description by A.J. Irving.) Originally the stone was a single 18.33kg oriented stone with black fusion crust that was broken into fragments by the finder. It was found in 2010 by anonymous finder in NWA. This stone was analyzed .
